No two learners are exactly alike. Neither are the ways in which our team supports medical student learners. While our work is grounded in an intersection of psychology, education, neuroscience, and medical education research, we strive to work as a partner in learning with each medical student. As Learning Specialists, we have the privilege to journey alongside our students across all four years of their medical school training. This approach provides us ongoing opportunities to tailor the feedback and support we provide each student based on their sharing of their lived experiences. Developing as a life-long learner is at the core of being a physician. I feel fortunate each day to have the opportunity to meet with these inspirational learners and future physicians.
